Last Chance for Summer Lightning Squash

As everyone knows, there is nothing like a bit of summer lightning to get you going. There only difference with this summer's lightning squash is that we know exactly when it is going to strike.

Summer Lightning Squash

• Will run over 7 weeks :
  • 7th, 14th, 21st December 2009
  • 4th, 11th. 18th & 25th January 2010
• Same format as last time :
  
• 5 Pools consisting of 8 players = 40 players total.
• Members of each Pool play against each other in a Round Robin format over 7 weeks.
  
  • Timed games : 3 minutes warm-up, 7 minutes play, 1 minute break, 7 minutes play, 1 minute break, 7 minutes play. 1 minute changeover for next game.
  • All games will commence simultaneously to the piercing screech of the Club Whistle.
  • Timing will be controlled by the Club Stop Clock.
  • Be there, ready to play at 6.50pm each night
• Nominating for this competition  commits you to playing or arranging a replacement on the above dates as the players in your pool are counting on you to play against.
• Fee is $40 - this must be paid before the first game.

We found with this format, that games were all over just after 9pm.
