All members are welcome to attend the next meeting of the FCTA. It will be held at the courts on Thursday 24th May, commencing at 6.30pm. Free tennis for the kids, while you amuse yourself at the meeting! Come and make a difference for your club.

• FCPT has moved into our shed and has moved all lessons, squads and fixtures from Wed - Sat to our courts. Don't forget to drop in and grab a drink or snack on your way home from tennis. And, welcome to assistant coach Brian, all the way from Ireland! We hope you have a great experience in Hervey Bay and with the FCTA-FCPT partnership.
• Adult A grade fixtures is up and running on Tuesday's from 6.30 pm. Please ring Chip if you are interested in playing.
• Social tennis is available for all ages and standards every Monday from 6.30. This is a great way to support the Club and have a great time in a casual and friendly environment. Plus, the mini set format, including singles and doubles, is a great way to do some fitness and give the kids some valuable match practice.
• Court hire is always available (except M-W from 6pm) via Craignish Foodworks.
• The FCTA committee is looking for 2 volunteers to fill vacant spots. Once our final 2 courts are built we will be looking at beautification and signage and creating a working partnership with FCRC to turn the Centre into a first class venue. Now is a great time to jump in and lend a hand. Please contact Chip in interested.
• The next monthly meeting of the FCTA is Thursday 26 April at the Barnes residence at 148 Long Street in Point Vernon. All members are welcome. Please come along and see first hand how the Club operates, meet the committee, and provide your valuable input and suggestions.
• FCTA conducts sausage sizzles at Bunnings and Harvey Norman. We are keen for volunteers and, if interested, please contact Brenda.

The next meeting of the FCTA will be held at 15 Haynes St, Pt Vernon, on Tuesday 21st February, commencing at 6.30pm.

Fixtures anyone? Ladies, come to a sign on night next Wednesday 22nd February, commencing at 6pm. We are looking for some fun gals, of any standard to play competition tennis. See you at the courts.

The two old bitument courts are set to get a facelift from next Monday 5th December. They will be transformed into synthetic grass and with new fencing, will provide the perfect setting for tennis. Weather permitting, they will be ready for play by Christmas.  

Doing anything next Tuesday night, 6th December at 7pm? Then come along to our meeting at the Dundowran courts, and have a say in the future of your club.

The four new courts with the best lighting in South-East Qld (according to Tennis Queensland officials) are now available for hire. Get the key from Craignish Foodworks. Daytime costs are $5 ph for members and $10 ph for non-members. Nighttime costs $10 ph for members and $20 ph for non-members. So why not become a member? Memberships are now available for 2012 from this site.

Social tennis for all ages and abilities is now available on Monday nights from 7pm. Cost is $6 per person. See you on the courts.

Thank you to all members who attended the AGM last Tuesday night. Our new committe is listed on this site. We welcome Clint and Sharon Wagstaff as new committee members, and thank Dave Dorey for all his hard work and commitment over the past 3 years.
